Creekside Swim Team takes home another winning title

What does it mean to be a champion? To some it may simply mean being the best, the strongest and the fastest. To others, it may mean achieving a personal goal, even if you didn’t beat the competition. Champions may be personified by strength and endurance or by team spirit and dedication. Rose seller Francisco Bautista has been an essential part of Aborn Road for more a decade

Twelve years ago, Francisco Bautista moved to San Jose to be near his wife’s grown children.
Already a senior citizen, he did not want to look for a factory job like he had been doing in Los Angeles before coming to San Jose.
Bautista found a better calling – selling roses along Aborn Road, something he has been doing daily for more than a decade.
