‘Los Posadas’ and ‘Simbang Gabi’ combine for a cross-cultural celebration at St. Francis of Assisi Church

The committee presented the "Las Posadas" a procession that is part of the Mexican Heritage, a Christ-mas celebration that relives in song and costume, "The Posadas," the search by Mary and Joseph for shelter.

The procession preceded the Holy Mass at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, which was one in a series of Holy Masses celebrated during the "Simbang Gabi" Advent No-vena in December as an important part of the Filipino heritage.
