Judy Stein, banquets chairperson, and Dr. Art Stein, M. D., president of the Camera Club, are all smiles following the Camera Club’s annual holiday banquet, held Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Villages Clubhouse.
The couple teamed with others to provide a great evening for the members and guests of the Camera Club.
"I think everyone had a great time. It was a warm evening of socialization and sharing, " said Dr. Stein at the end of the evening.
Following the dinner, the film, "The Roots of Photography" was shown, portraying the stories behind photography greats Ansel Adams, Henry Gilpin, Imogen Cunningham, Al Weber, Edward Weston, and others. Many of them formed the "f/64 Group" that blazed the trail for the acceptance of photography as fine art.
The dinner was wonderful, the film was very special, the camaraderie was great, and the member’s "f/stops" were definitely set at "f/64" for a very sharp focus on friendship and sharing for the evening.
