San Jose Youth Ballet presents ‘Nutcracker’

Celebrate the Evergreen holiday tradition for family and friends by attending “The Nutcracker” at the Evergreen Valley Performing Arts Center, 3300 Quimby Rd at Ruby.

Ballet stars of the future may emerge from the talented cast of The Nutcracker ’07.

Directed by Maggie Ferla, the cast consists of 89 young dancers, with two professionals, most of who live in Evergreen. Performances will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Tickets are $18 - $25 for each performance. Tickets for a Sugar Plum Party on stage with the cast at the end of the last performance are $7. All tickets are available online at www.SJYB.org or by calling 800-838-3006.
