Evergreen options for shipping holiday packages

Perhaps you’ve joined the droves of shoppers taking advantage of all the holiday sales since the day after Thanksgiving. Now it’s time to ship some of those gifts to friends and loved ones outside of the immediate area.

Evergreen offers a number of package/mail receiving options that provide an alternative to the long lines typically found at the Post Office during the holiday rush.

Conveniently located in different areas of the district, most of these mail centers provide postage, packaging services and shipping supplies to further assist you.

Walk in their stores and you’ll discover a number of other business services, from passport photos to notary services to mailbox rentals. Call the store closest to you to find out if they offer the specific service you’re looking for.

- AIM Mail Centers, 4848 San Felipe Rd. at Yerba Buena, is located in the Evergreen Market Place near Jamba Juice and Casa Castillo. Phone: (408) 274-4624, Fax: (408) 274-3781. This a UPS, FedEx and U.S. Postal Service authorized shipping outlet.

- E-Z Mail, 3315 San Felipe Rd. near Aborn Road, is located just a few doors down from the Wells Fargo Bank. Phone: (408) 270-3965, Fax: (408) 270-3959.

- Mail + Advantage, 1658 E. Capitol Expressway at Silver Creek, is located next to Hollywood Video. Phone: (408) 274-3304, Fax: (408) 274-2837. This a UPS, FedEx, Airborne and U.S. Postal Service authorized shipping outlet. Mail + Advantage even offers gift-wrapping.

- PostalAnnex+ has two Evergreen locations: 5655 Silver Creek Valley Rd. at Canyon Creek Plaza by Cosentino’s and 2980 E. Capital Expressway, Suite 50, at Tully Road in the new Super Albertsons Center.

Evergreen’s branches of the U.S. Postal Service are located at 2450 Alvin Ave., and the Eastridge Mall, (800) 275-8777. Please note that due to the renovation of Eastridge, the postal facility is located outside of the mall in a portable trailer near the bus depot.
