You’re invited to Windermere’s Winter Wonderland Dec. 8 -11

Windermere Silicon Valley Properties presents its Second Annual Winter Wonderland, a 4-day event at Canyon Creek Plaza, Dec. 8 to 11.

Children can enjoy having their photograph taken with Santa Claus at Windermere’s Winter Wonderland.

Children will enjoy making holiday crafts and sitting on Santa’s lap for a commemorative photograph. Adults will be treated to refreshments and the sights and sounds of the season, including caroling by local groups.

“This event started at a brainstorming session with some of our agents last year,” stated Dave Walsh, manager of the Windermere office. “Everyone immediately loved the idea and went to work to put Winter Wonderland together. All the manpower at the event was volunteered by the agents as a way to give back to the community we serve. With little time to promote the event, we were astounded to see almost 1,000 families enjoy the festivities.”

“My kids got so excited when they learned Windermere was holding this fun and special event again this year,” said Lynne Ziffer, who attended last year’s Winter Wonderland. “It really was fabulous and a night to remember. We’ll be there on opening night waiting for Santa’s arrival!”

Windermere’s Winter Won-derland is free to all who attend. It will take place at Canyon Creek Plaza, near Cosentino’s Market, 5667 Silver Creek Valley Road. Festivities commence at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, with the arrival of Santa Claus, followed by a 7 p.m. tree lighting ceremony and activities wrapping up at 9 p.m.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 9-11, Winder-mere’s Winter Wonderland hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
