Did you know the Evergreen Branch Library at Aborn and Kettman will be closing for remodeling and upgrading in late December? What other libraries do you plan to use in its place?
(Asked at the Evergreen Branch Library)
“No, I didn’t know. I wasn’t aware that it would close. I guess I’ll just have to go to the one on Tully Road.”

“No, I wasn’t aware the branch would close. It’s really crowded over there [on Tully Road] and the traffic is really bad. This library is convenient and it’s not really crowded. I’ll be upset when it closes.”

“No, I didn’t know the branch was closing or that they were planning on making improvements. If you go to the [Martin Luther King, Jr.] library downtown, it’s tough to find parking. Tully Road is always congested. I guess, it depends on where I’m working, whichever I’m closest to.”

“No, I didn’t know it would be closing. Why? This branch is easy to get to, it’s within walking distance and I come here a lot. I’ll probably end up going to the nearest branch, the one on Tully Road until they reopen this one.”

“No, I didn’t know they were going to close it. I can go to the one on Tully Road.”
Sheloo Jain, 35

“No, I didn’t know the branch was going to close. I come here about twice a week, sometimes to study and sometimes to rent movies. Tully is too far for me, because I can walk to this branch, this is one good location. But, maybe I’ll end up going to the one on Tully.”

“No, I didn’t know it was going to close. The area really needs it, there’s one in the east, on White Road, and there are other libraries. I’ll probably end up going to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library [downtown] because it’s really nice. I prefer the downtown library because there’s more selection.”
Pauline Olague, 47

“No, I didn’t know it was closing. I used to go to the library in Milpitas, because it was on the way to work, but I’ve been coming here because it’s more convenient for me because it’s near my son’s school and by my house. I guess I’ll have to go to the Tully branch because I have to get books for my kids every week so that they can get used to reading.”
