NARF pet adoption news
Beau
"Low-key for a Border Collie mix" means Beau loves to play! This young neutered male is already crate-trained, good with older children, pretty good with cats, and can be best friends with another dog if that dog is the right gender and size.
Think you'd like to share your home with that big K9 smile?

Madonna
Rescued with her six kittens from a schoolyard just before the school was torn down, this mellow, trusting, playful 1-yr-old would just love to come share your life with you! She gets along well with dogs, cats and children, and is already spayed, microchipped, and has all her vaccinations.

Mira and her kittens
Her kitten was trapped between two sides of a fence, meowing frantically; humans were clawing at the
boards!
We can't know what was going through the mind of this inexperienced mom cat as we rescued her frightened kitten, then swept up her other five as well, but we did find out she wasn't going to let them go without a fight!
Despite her desperation that night, Mira turned out to be a very affectionate young cat and (no surprise) a good mother. Her kittens now weaned and Mira spayed, all are waiting for their 'forever' homes. Mira would prefer a humans-only home, while her kittens get along famously well with just about everybody: dogs, cats, small
children.
Come see them at an adoption fair (see the NARF website, www.narfrescue.com, for times and places) or call (408) 946-2291 (option 3) or email babe8904@sbcglobal.net.
