Nov. 1
Vicious animals
3400 Block of Rio Bravo
An adult male was bitten while attempting to separate two fighting pitbull dogs. The victim was transported to RMC-ER where he was treated for injuries to his right arm and hand. Animal Services responded and took the custody of the dogs.
Nov. 4
Armed robbery
Brigadoon/Camperdown
Two male suspects robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint at the above location. The suspects fled on foot into Brigadoon Park. No suspects have been arrested or identified.

2739 Buena View Court
The victim, a pizza delivery driver, was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown suspects in the parking lot at that location. The suspects took money and pizza. The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle and have not been arrested or identified.
Nov. 5
Assault with a deadly weapon
1500 Block of Flanigan Drive
Officers responded to a report of a fight in the street with beer bottles being used as weapons. Arriving officers discovered a female with a minor head laceration at a nearby apartment. The door had been kicked in and severely damaged. Evidence suggested a party had been occurring in the apartment. The victim and her boyfriend were taken to a local hospital. Another male victim showed up at the hospital with non-life threatening head wounds consistent with being hit with a tire iron. A neighborhood canvas produced witnesses that heard a fight but didn’t see anything beyond vague descriptions of a group of males/females fleeing the area.

2900 Block of Aborn Square
An adult male suspect entered the Darling Nails business after shattering the front glass door and removed the cash register. The suspect fled the scene in a 1980s silver or blue 2-door vehicle. The suspect is outstanding.

Carjacking
Brightwood Drive/Centerwood Drive
The victim was leaving a party when confronted by approximately four Hispanic male adults wearing hooded sweatshirts. One was armed with a knife and demanded his money. Another suspect punched him in the face. The suspects fled in the victim’s Mustang. The victim received minor injuries. The suspects have not been identified or arrested.
Nov. 13
Theft, use of force
Target, 3155 Silver Creek Road
The suspect was observed by store security cutting open packages of merchandise and concealing them on his person. Officers confronted the suspect outside the store, but he fled back inside. Officers pursued the suspect and tackled him, however, he would not submit and compliance was gained by use of the Taser. No officers, citizens or the suspect were injured.
Arson incident at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Oct. 30
On October 30 at 8:15 p.m., an arson incident occurred at 3975 McLaughlin Ave. The unknown suspect(s) set fire to a car belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The fire damaged two other cars parked
nearby.
This church was also the victim of a Hate Crime incident that occurred on August 30, 2006. The suspect(s) in this case spray painted hate inspired graffiti on the church property.

Homicide at Qwik Stop Market on Alum Rock Nov. 1
On Nov. 1 at 12:14 a.m., San Jose Police Officers were dispatched to the Qwik Stop Market on Alum Rock near Stewart to reports of a man down. Officers arrived and discovered two males in the parking lot of the market, the victims of an apparent stabbing. Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one of the victims later died.
Homicide Detectives are attempting to determine a motive in this case.
