Thanksgiving Decorating Tips

Do you think about Thanksgiving as a time to decorate your home? Most everyone invests in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the Christmas holiday but Thanksgiving is a great holiday to think about creating a memorable experience for you and your family.

What can you do to create a welcoming atmosphere? Try these tips:

• Consider a rustic centerpiece made from rustic, natural elements from around your home. Or pick up supplies from a local crafts store.

• Add a holiday wreath to your front door to creating a welcoming theme for your guests. Indian corn, raffia, and other rustic elements combine to create an interesting visual element for your entryway.

• Think about adding apples and rose hips to your decorating areas for a unique look and feel.

• Remember, decorating is not just about visual elements. Candles are a fantastic and often overlooked element. Consider apple, cinnamon, or spice scented candles to create a truly complimentary feel.
