Evergreen Area Police report

Oct. 31
Residential Burglary

3100 Block of Woods Way
A residential burglary occurred between 0800-1200 hours at the above address. Entry was through an unlocked door. Taken were personal items.

Nov. 2
Armed Robbery

5600 Block of Silver Creek Valley Road
Three male suspects approached the victim, brandished a knife and took the victim’s items. The suspects fled in a small dark car driven by a female. The victim was not injured. The suspects are unidentified and at large.

Nov. 4
Arson

August Boeger Middle School
School staff located four gasoline soaked socks tied to the door knobs of four different classrooms. The fire did very minimal damage to the doors of the classrooms. No suspect’s information developed at this time.

Nov. 7
Stolen Vehicle/Felony Want

2900 Block of Irwindale Dr.
Officer made a stop on an occupied stolen vehicle on Irwindale. The driver fled into a backyard. A perimeter was set and the suspect was taken into custody during a yard-to-yard search. The suspect had multiple felony wants.

Nov. 9
Assault W/Deadly Weapon

2600 Block of Puccini
An argument occurred regarding money among partygoers. A fight ensued involving multiple subjects. The victim was struck on the back of the head with a bottle causing a small laceration. He was stopped as he was leaving the scene in his vehicle. The victim refused medical attention. The suspects are unidentified and at large.

Nov. 10
Person Shot

Rossmore Wy/Rossmore Ct.
Subjects from at least two vehicles were involved. One victim was shot. The victim was transported to Quimby and White by his friends. He was then transported to the hospital by ambulance for injuries.

Strong-Armed Robbery
Aborn/White Road
Three juvenile female suspects punched/kicked the victim and took her purse. A short time later, all three suspects were apprehended. The suspects were booked into Juvenile Hall.

Nov. 11
10 Parole Violation

2000 Block of Benninghof Court
METRO Units conducted a parole search at the listed location. Items located included narcotics, a scale and other sales indicia. The suspect was booked into County Jail for possession for sales of narcotics and parole violation.

Robbery/Home Invasion
2900 Block of Glen Almond Drive
Six male adult suspects entered the residence armed with weapons and tied up the two adult male victims. The suspects demanded money. The suspects ransacked the residence and took off with the victim’s personal items and cash. The victims sustained head injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

Sales of Narcotics
King Rd at Flannigan Ave.
Officer was investigating a suspect involved in the sale of narcotics. Officers spotted the trafficker at the above location. Officers attempted to detain the suspect but he fled on foot. The suspect was tased and arrested. A subsequent search revealed narcotics packaged for sale. The suspect was treated at a local hospital and booked into jail.

Nov. 12
Graffiti Vandalism

Various Locations
The METRO Graffiti conducted follow-up investigation of numerous incidents of graffiti vandalism throughout Evergreen. The suspects were linked to several of the incidents by the new graffiti tracking system from the information entered by an outside agency. The suspects were taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall for seven felony and five misdemeanor counts of vandalism.
