Would you eat at a sit-down restaurant built on the Beshoff MotorCars dealership lot?
(Asked at Evergreen Plaza, Tully Road and Capitol Expressway)

“The Evergreen area doesn’t have many restaurants, but if there were one over at the dealership, of course I would go. I had a bakery in Willow Glen before and they have a whole bunch of good restaurants over there. If there were good restaurants here, of course I’d go. I think we need an Italian restaurant.”

“I think the location of the actual dealership is kind of a bad place to begin with. But I wouldn’t go there [for a restaurant] because I go out of town to eat most of the time anyway. I don’t like hanging out in my own area. I like to drive and make an adventure out of it.”

“I’m pretty much indifferent. There’s no draw for me to go there unless I’m shopping for an automobile.”

Brandon Anderton, 29

“I’d go to a restaurant there because it would be another place to take my girlfriend. The Evergreen area needs more restaurants; right now we go to McDonald’s. I’d like to see more Chinese restaurants.”

“I think I would not go there to have dinner because I would be afraid that they would try and sell me a car. I just want to enjoy a nice dinner with the people that I’m with and not have the fear of someone trying to sell me something. I would not eat dinner – or have breakfast or lunch – at a place on a car lot because I would just be afraid they would try and sell me cars.”

Frank Fernandez, 25
Evergreen, Caregiver

“I would like to see a [restaurant] here that wasn’t costly and something that’s different; something that people from other cities would come here for. If [a restaurant] like that were built, I’d definitely go there to eat.”

Richel Constantino, 18
