Evergreen Valley High School, 3300 Quimby Rd.
Officers responded to a report from a parent who had spotted two teenage boys passing through Millbrook’s playground, possibly wielding a gun at about 2:30 p.m. Most of the students had already left, but the school opted to do a lockdown. At around 3 p.m., the San Jose Police Department called nearby EVHS to inform the high school of Millbrook’s lockdown. EVHS announced a Code Blue, requiring students and staff to secure themselves in classrooms and buildings due to a possible danger present in the area. Officers checked neighboring streets searching for the boys, but they were not found. At about 3:20 p.m., SJPD announced an “All Clear.” No one was injured.
