Assault with a deadly weapon

A group of teenaged suspects drove by a residence at the above location. Someone from the suspect vehicle threw a rock at a group of teens standing in the driveway there. A 13-year-old boy was hit in the face by this rock and suffered minor injuries. No suspects have been arrested or identified.

Burglary suspect arrested by SJPD
Over a period of about three weeks, several homes in the Silver Creek Valley Country Club area were burglarized during real estate “open houses.” The suspect, Susan Hjeltness, along with her 13-year-old son and an adult male companion, would pose as prospective buyers and tour various homes. They would unlock doors to the homes and return later to take property from the residences.
On Tuesday, October 17, detectives from the Burglary Unit served a search warrant at the suspect’s
residence.
Detectives recovered stolen property from four victims’ homes inside the suspect’s residence. Based on victim estimates, over $56,000 worth of property was recovered at the scene. The suspect was booked into the County Jail on four counts of Residential Burglary and four counts of Possession of Stolen Property.
