Don’t miss San Jose City Hall grand opening Oct. 15
You are invited to join the “Community Building - Building Community” celebration at the San Jose City Hall grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 200 E. Santa Clara St., between Fourth and Sixth streets, in downtown San Jose.
Highlights of the free activities throughout the day include a building dedication ceremony at 11 a.m., building tours from noon to 4 p.m., children’s activities, dance, music, Mariachi, jazz and more.
Come explore San Jose’s newest community building, with an expansive civic plaza, engaging public art, a consolidated customer service center, state of the art City Council Chambers and exhibits from History San Jose and San Jose sister cities.
Plus, get the first look at the glass-enclosed rotunda to be used for community events and celebrations.
The San Jose City Hall stands as a symbol of our city’s cultural and historical roots as well as its technological savvy.
By bringing services together in one location results in better customer service for San Jose residents and businesses.
