Villaggio Senior Apartment residents host fabric painting fashion show

Villaggio Senior Apartment residents and guests held their first Fabric Painting Fashion Show on Sept. 14 following their monthly Potluck Dinner.

The articles decorated for the show ranged from shirts to evening gowns and were modeled by Colleen Harrington, Cynthia Dizon, Jim Sullivan, Luz Cabrido, Pasqualina (Pat) Trapasso, resident Theresa Gomez and her granddaughter Brielle Guerra, Robert Delgadillo, Reme Pick and Dortha Jackson.

Paintings, vests, shirts and sweaters by other student painters were displayed throughout the community room at the Villaggio Senior Apartment complex. Fabric painting is one of the many activities available to the seniors at the apartments, with Mrs. Reme Pick serving as the coordinator and instructor of the class.

To conclude the fun-filled evening, delicious desserts were served.

The seniors at Villaggio Senior Apartments are now looking forward to the annual Halloween Party on Oct. 31, chaired by Jim Sullivan.
