I have been studying poetry ever since I was little, and now I am 5 years old.

Dear Diary,
Today I spent another wonderful day with the other animals and people at HSSV but I am still kind of sad. I miss having someone or some things special just to call my own. I miss lying on a lap and gazing into my family’s face even though I am in foster care. I was lucky with foster care; they picked my name out of a lottery! Do you already have a dog at home and want a friend for him or her? That’s me! Do you sometimes have to put me in a crate? OK with me. Oh, and I am house trained.
