Moving on up – living in a high rise in San Jose

By Bill Highlander
Editor

San Jose’s skyline is changing and more people are making their homes in downtown San Jose in the high-rise buildings. The lure is being in the midst of a city with theater, restaurants, short commutes, no outdoor maintenance and hopefully soon more shopping.

Four new luxury residences are open for public inspection on Sept. 20-21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The San Jose Redevelopment Agency, San Jose Down-town Association, Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and developers are inviting the public to explore “Downtown San Jose.” Hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants and the chance to win prizes are part of the tour.

Start at any of the four sales centers, get a passport and get it stamped at all four projects in any order, at any time to qualify for the prizes.
