San Jose Evergreen National Junior Basketball is here!
Basketball season is here again!  Come and join the fun!
This basketball league is for all 3rd to 8th grade children living in the San Jose Evergreen Area Boundary. Separate boys & girls teams, nine regular season games, post season tournaments, uniforms, trophies & team pictures. We teach Sportsmanship, Fundamental skills development, and great family fun!

Sign up now to guarantee your child a team.  Teams are filled on a “first come first serve” basis. Coaches & parent volunteers are needed. Go online to www.sanjosenjb.org to register and for more information. Only on-line registration will be accepted this year. Your child must be registered, paid and assessed before being placed on a team. Bring your completed form to one of the following mandatory skills evaluations. $235 Registration fee. East Valley Girls Softball League sign ups for spring 2009

EVSL has been developing young girl’s knowledge and love of the game since 1996. From the novice to the elite player our goal is to have every girl succeed and expand their playing skills. Our league is a Santa Clara County-wide league and available to all Santa Clara County girls. Any girl at least 5 years old and not more than 16 years old, as of January 1, 2009 is eligible to play. We welcome all applicable ages and every skill level. We will be holding sign ups on the following dates:

Nov. 5 &19, 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Bike MS: Waves To Wine Ride Celebrates 25th year
Bike MS: Waves to Wine Ride is celebrating its 25th Anniversary.  This ride takes you on an unforgettable two-day journey from San Francisco up Highway 1 to Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park and then to Healdsburg in Sonoma County.  More than 1,600 riders will cruise along scenic roads riding any distance from 40 to 175 miles.  Six full meals, generous amenities, stunning landscapes, stocked rest stops every 12 to 15 miles at spectacular sites, and spirited festivities with music and a beer garden are all included.  Bike MS raises money to fund cutting-edge research and provide services to help people with multiple sclerosis.

This annual 5K Race/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008

Most Holy Trinity Alumni Golf Benefit set for Oct. 17
Most Holy Trinity School and Alumni Group will host its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club. This event benefits the school’s Endownment Fund which provides scholarships for less fortunate families as well as for the further development and improvement of the school. The school and its alumni group invite all levels of Golf players to enjoy this day of networking, fun and camaraderie. Promotional opportunities and sponsorships are still available. NJB Coyote Creek registration now open
NJB (National Junior Basketball) is a nonprofit organization with local chapters in 6 states. The Coyote Creek chapter services the greater South San Jose area in and around Blossom Valley and South Evergreen.

This year, we are offering divisional play in three grade levels for 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th grade boys and the same for girls. We also offer an "All-Net" division for a higher level of competition with 4 girls and 4 boys teams (one each) from 5th to 8th grade. Last, not least, we are also running boys’ JV (9th/10th) and Varsity (11th/12th) teams in the High School division. Practices start in October, first games are December 7th. Fees are $260 for all divisions with discounts for multiple siblings and early bird discounts for registrations received before 9/21/2008. (All-Net players will be charged an additional $25 after making the team)
