Aug 21
Armed Robbery

3100 Block of Silver Creek Road
Two adult male suspects approached the victim on foot, brandished a handgun and stole the victim’s purse. The victim was not injured. The suspects fled on foot and are unidentified and at large.

Aug 24
Assault with Deadly Weapon

San Felipe/Yerba Buena
A male person at Evergreen Park was approached and punched in the face by a suspect using a hard object. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries that required medical treatment. The suspect fled the scene and was not apprehended.

Burglary, Parole Violation
Silver Creek Road/Capitol Expressway
Officer arrested a parolee for burglary and petty theft with a prior parole violation.

Aug 27
Parolee at large with a stolen gun

Capitol/Silver Creek
Officers conducted surveillance on a wanted parolee at large. The suspect was on parole for possession of narcotics. The suspect fled from officers and was apprehended a short distance later with the use of the taser. The suspect possessed a loaded and concealed handgun. The suspect was treated at a local hospital and was booked into the county jail for being a parolee at large, possession of a concealed firearm, felon in possession of a stolen firearm and resisting arrest.

Burglary

3300 Block of Chemin De Riviere
Officers responded to an attempted burglary. Three juvenile males went into the victim’s backyard and attempted to pry open a window of the victim’s residence. The victim was home, and interrupted the entry. At approximately 1300 hours, officers responded to a burglary call at a residence which was burglarized yesterday, on the same street as above. Officers apprehended two juvenile suspects who were positively identified by both victims. The suspects admitted to yesterday’s burglary and today’s two attempts.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

1700 Block of Yerba Buena Road
The victim and suspects were involved in a verbal confrontation. The verbal confrontation escalated and became physical with one suspect punching the victim. While one suspect was punching the victim the second suspect struck the victim with a wooden object. The victim refused medical attention. Both suspects were arrested.

Sept 1
Parole Hold, Auto Theft

2400 Block of Fontaine Road
An occupied stolen vehicle was located in a motel parking lot in the 2400 block of Fontaine Road. There were three suspects including one who was on parole for auto theft. All three suspects were arrested. The suspect who was on parole also had a parole hold placed on him.

Sept 3
Parolee in Possession of a Handgun, K9 Arrest

3100 Block of Flinthaven Drive
An officer made a car stop on a residential street. The driver and one passenger fled immediately through a garage and into a backyard. The remaining passenger was found to be a parolee possessing live ammunition. A loaded handgun was found under the driver seat. A perimeter officer saw three subjects fleeing over a fence and took one into custody. A K-9 search later located one suspect hiding in a front yard. That suspect was apprehended by the canine and also tased. He was in possession of a knife. The driver was eventually identified as a wanted parolee, but not located. During the course of contacting witnesses at the scene, another wanted parolee was arrested as well.
