CRIME STOPPER OF THE MONTH

Homicide
On Aug. 9, 2004 at 10:28 p.m., San Jose Police Officers responded to a call of a shooting inside of a residence in the 1400 block of Merrywood Dr. (near Meridian and Kooser). When officers arrived, they located a male in the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was inside of his residence when the suspect entered through an unlocked door. The suspect shot the victim and then ran out the front door. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male six feet tall and weighing approx.180 lbs., wearing white clothing, and he was in his early twenties.

The suspect is still at large. Anyone with information leading to the arrest of this suspect can receive a reward of up to $1000. Please call Crime Stoppers at (408)947-STOP or 947-7867. Persons calling and giving information will remain anonymous.
