Notice of public hearing by Evergreen School District
An open hearing is scheduled for the September 20, 2007 at the Evergreen School District Board of Trustees Meeting, at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room, located at 3188 Quimby Road, San Jose. The open hearing is being held in regard to the availability of textbooks and instructional materials for the 2007-08 school year.
Next D8CRT meeting Aug. 14: Mineta San Jose International Airport expansion project to be discussed
Adrianna Rivas from the Mineta San Jose International Airport will be the main speaker at the next District 8 Community Round Table meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 14; at 7 p.m. Rivas will be providing an update on the airport expansion project.
Other speakers for the Aug. 14 D8CRT meeting include John Moniz from Pinn Brothers and Reena Mathew of the city of San Jose providing an update on Pinn Brothers’ developments in District 8, and Simeon Mercado discussing a tot-lot for the park adjacent to the Evergreen Branch Library.
D8CRT meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Evergreen Branch Public Library, 2635 Aborn Road, San Jose, 95121. Offsite parking is available at Grace Lutheran Church across from the library off of Kettmann Road.
For the Sept. 11 D8CRT meeting, the keynote speakers will discuss a sports feasibility study and gang awareness. A more in-depth gang awareness workshop will follow on Saturday, Sept 29. Villagers enjoy 49er tailgate birthday party
