California residents 18 years of age or older, who have a child between the ages of 6 and 12, are invited to visit their local Red Robin® restaurant to enter their child in the sweepstakes. Red Robin will accept entries from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at 5 p.m. PST. Entry forms and contest rules are available at any of the participating California Red Robin® restaurants. A Red Robin restaurant is located in the Eastridge Mall.
Individuals who do not have a child between the ages of 6 and 12 may still enter the sweepstakes and, if selected, could donate the opportunity to be the Kickoff Kid to a local children’s charity arranged by Red Robin and the Oakland Raiders.
“We are very pleased to continue our relationship with Red Robin and promote our family and youth initiatives at McAfee Coliseum,” said Amy Trask, chief executive of the Oakland Raiders.
The family of each Kickoff Kid winner will be notified at least one week prior to the home game at which their child will act as the Kickoff Kid. The grand prize for each of the 10 winners includes two (2) sideline passes for the winner and the winners’ parent or guardian, four (4) admission tickets for the Kickoff Kid, a parent/guardian and two additional guests to attend the Oakland Raiders home football game featuring the winner, an Oakland Raiders jersey and the opportunity to remove the football tee after the opening kickoff.
