Aug 1
Robbery/Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Sears P-Lot at Eastridge Mall
At 10:00 p.m., a walk-in stabbing/robbery victim came into a local hospital. The victim reported being robbed and stabbed by unknown subjects in the Sears parking lot at Eastridge Mall. The suspects were not located. The victim’s wounds were non-life-threatening.

Aug 2
Possession of Loaded Firearm

Burlingame Way/Hillsborough Way
Officer conducted a car-stop for vehicle code violations. The driver was an unlicensed juvenile. During a search of the vehicle the officer found a loaded handgun and marijuana. All five persons in the vehicle were arrested. The adult passenger was arrested. The four juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Trespassing/Parole Violation
3900 Block of Thainwood Drive
The parolee suspect was released from the jail. He went to his ex-girlfriend’s home, walked in the open front door and took a shower. He does not live there, nor does he have a key. Officers contacted his parole officer who placed a hold on the suspect. He was booked for parole violation and trespassing.

Armed Robbery
Area Of Othello Drive/Enesco Drive
The victim was selling ice cream in the above area when two male adults approached him. The smaller male pulled out a black semi-auto handgun and held it on the victim while the larger male searched the victim’s pockets. The suspects took the victim’s items and cash. The victim was uninjured and the suspects were outstanding at the time of this report.

Burglary
Vista Verde Drive/Community Cabana Club
Officers responded to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival the suspects had fled; however, the reporting party had followed them to a nearby residence. Three juvenile males were taken into custody. Property was recovered and they were implicated in a burglary of the same location the night before.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Stabbing
3200 Block of Aborn Road
Officers responded to a report of a person stabbed outside of a bar. The victim suffered stab wounds and was admitted at a local hospital after undergoing surgery. The suspect is outstanding.

Aug 3
Burglary

1900 Block of Flint Avenue
Seven suspects ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old were arrested after they smashed a window and entered a classroom at August Boeger Middle School. The suspects were captured as they tried to flee on foot. It is unknown if the suspects are responsible for other similar school burglaries. The investigation is ongoing.
