DTI highlights culmination of year’s curriculum

Dance Theater International recently presented its “Student Showcase 2005” to sold-out audiences at Evergreen Valley High School.

From the adorable, young ballerinas, to the exciting character jazz and tap dancers and vibrant hip-hoppers, each of the three showcases got the audiences tapping their feet and transfixed on the talents of the performers who attend DTI dance school.

DTI serves as an arts resource for the Evergreen and Silver Creek community. It offers school year and summer classes for ages 2 and a half through adults. Full training schedules are available for serious students seeking high caliber training and flexible schedules for recreational exercise.

Located at 4075 Evergreen Village Square, Suite 260, DTI is also the official school of the San Jose Youth Ballet. SJYB presents a “must see” production of “The Nutcracker,” which will be performed at The Mexican Heritage Theater Dec. 17 and 18.

For any further information about the school or its productions, call (408) 274-7734 or check the Web site, www.dtidance.com.
