Evergreen Area Police report

June 19
Armed robbery
1600 Block of E. Capitol Expressway

Two Hispanic male adults in their early 20’s entered the Hollywood Video at approximately 22:49 hours just prior to closing. The first suspect approached the victim as he was counting the day’s cash and demanded the money. The second suspect acted as a lookout. The first suspect then pulled up his shirt and showed the victim a black handgun in his waistband. The victim was ordered to put the money in a Hollywood Video bag. Both suspects fled the store with cash. The suspects were not apprehended. The investigation is ongoing.
