Macaroni Grill Eastridge is owned and operated by Waterloo Restaurant Ventures, and General Manager Melvin Garcia said he is thrilled to be at Eastridge providing a family friendly sit-down restaurant in East San Jose.
As of September 2006, there are 232 Macaroni Grill locations in 42 states, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Japan, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
The summer season is full of new flavors at the restaurants, including new oven-stuffed Ravioli di Mare, filled to the edges with the flavor of tender lobster, succulent shrimp, and scallops in a lemon-butter sauce. Another favorite, the new Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms, are filled with succulent crab and Italian seasonings, and then baked to a golden brown in a brick oven. The new Chicken Sorrentino is grilled in a honey balsamic glaze served with capellini pasta, arugula, oven-roasted Roma tomatoes and fresh buffalo mozzarella.
Feeling a bit adventurous or wanting your pasta, your way? At Macaroni Grill, you can always create your own
pasta. Ask a waiter for a create-your-own-pasta worksheet to pick out your favorite sauce, pasta, and ingredients. Macaroni Grill recently announced the create-your-own-pasta winning entry by a Florida guest: Il Gusto Di Casa, "The Taste of Home" with ingredients of roasted garlic and tomato cream sauce, shrimp, sliced grilled chicken, roasted garlic cloves, sun-dried tomatoes, rigatoni, and fresh basil.
"This sauce is a combination of two of our popular sauces, and is similar to the Salsa Aurora that I enjoyed as a boy growing up in Roma. The balance between the chicken and shrimp, with the sweetness of the rosemary and fresh basil create a craving that will bring you back again and again," said Romano's Macaroni Grill’s Executive Chef.
To end a perfect summer night, don’t forget the restaurant’s new Italian Sorbetto with imported Italian raspberry and lemon sorbets made with fresh fruit juice and served with crisp almond biscotti in a martini glass.
