San Jose seeks input on transportation funding priorities
at July 10 D8CRT meeting

The city of San Jose is interested in hearing District 8’s priorities and discussing possible funding strategies to better maintain pavement and other street infrastructure in light of the budget shortfall.

The public is invited to discuss these issues at the next District 8 Community Roundtable meeting to be held at the Evergreen Library, 2635 Aborn Rd., on Tuesday, July 10, at 7 pm.

City representatives will spend about one hour seeking input from District 8 residents to help develop a list of funding priorities related to improving conditions of pavement, street trees, sidewalks, curb ramps, street lights, traffic signals, curbs and gutters, street signs and markings, and median landscaping.
