6/6: Suspicious Person / Under the Influence of a Narcotic
Towers Avenue and Aborn Road
Officers responded to a call about a suspicious person stealing items from a local store and jumping fences in the area of Towers Avenue and Aborn Road. Officers followed the suspect and surrounded him at the residence on Towers Avenue. The suspect then went onto the roof of the second-story residence and refused to come down. After a four-hour standoff, the suspect surrendered without incident. He was booked for theft, resisting arrest and being under the influence of narcotics.

6/10: Vicious Animal/Injured Person
3800 block of Glengarry Way
Officers responded to the above location on a vicious animal call of two dogs attacking a male. On arrival officers found a male with a large wound to his hand. The two dogs were secured. The injured male stated that both dogs belonged to him. An ambulance transported the male to the hospital. The case was turned over to Animal Control officers.

6/12: Police Vehicle Accident
A sergeant was responding to an officer assistance call when a civilian vehicle struck him. The police vehicle sustained major damage. All parties were treated and released at local hospitals.
