Luxury spa opens at Evergreen Village Square

Secret Oasis Day Spa and Salon has relocated to Evergreen Village Square. In a gorgeous setting, owner Danielle Farran and her professional staff of 12 offer a full menu of luxurious spa treatments.

Kelly Erardi of Shapell Industries, Vice-Mayor Dave Cortese, Danielle Farran, owner, and Rose Herrera of Involved Evergreen join others in the ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Secret Oasis Day Spa & Salon in Evergreen Village Square on June 1.

The grand opening on June 1 welcomed a steady stream of current clients and new prospects wanting to tour the spa’s beautiful arrangement of private rooms. The list of services include facials, massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, hair styling and eyebrow design.

The ebullient Danielle is qualified in all aspects of the treatments, but her special expertise is skin care. Born in Lebanon, she came to the United States 17 years ago. After gaining training and experience, she owned and operated a successful spa in Evergreen on White Road. But she knew after the Evergreen Village Square opened, that was where she wanted to be.

It took some time to work out the details, but the new Secret Oasis is a reality. As chair of the Evergreen Village Square Business Owners association, Danielle is helping to make the Square a community center. She sees the Square as a place where local residents can shop, use business services and enjoy the park. A grocery store, restaurants and retail shops are being planned.

Secret Oasis has professionals in massage therapy, skin care and hair styling. Men and women can relax and rejuvenate at the spa. Couples can enjoy the Cleopatra Room (ask Danielle the reason for the name) with a whirlpool spa, two massage tables, candles and soothing music.

Note the pendant that each of the staff wears. The Egyptian hieroglyphics spell the name of its wearer. The decor also carries the Egyptian motif, for Danielle’s hobby is studying Egyptian culture and history. Individual treatment and packages are offered.

A sense of relaxation and friendliness welcomes the client in the waiting and consultation rooms. After meeting the spa hostess and deciding on a treatment, the customer may store clothing and valuables in the colorful lock boxes in the rest room before the treatment begins.

Secret Oasis is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Clients are seen by appointment only and can be arranged by calling (408) 238-3216 or by visiting the Web site www.secretoasisdayspaandsalon.com.
