Fifth annual Books On Par event set for May 15

A charity golf tournament and gala dinner auction to raise money for technology and media resources, books, and artistic programs for the James F. Smith Elementary school will take place Monday, May 15 at the Silver Creek Country Club in San Jose.

The James F. Smith Elementary School PTA has hosted the event for five years in a row.

This year’s event sponsors include Evergreen businesses, branches, and families: Albin Engineering Services, Inc., American Express, Bank of America, Rigo Chacon’s Abrazos & Books, Coldwell Banker – Joe Piazza, Delta Alarm Security Systems, Inc., Evergreen Veterinary Clinic, The Langlois Family, Dr. John Lien, M.D., McDonald’s Restaurants, Solectron, South Bay Imaging, Swan Pools, Dr. David V. Evergreen Valley High School’s Annual Band Garage Sale on May 13

The Evergreen Valley High School’s Annual Band Garage Sale is set for Saturday, May 13, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the Band programs of Evergreen Valley High School.
