Evergreen Valley Recreational Club opening soon

The Evergreen Valley Recreational Club will be re-opening on May 15 for another fun summer of swimming and basking in the sun.

This is a pool association with memberships limited to approximately 120 families in the Evergreen community. The pool is located at 3380 Woodside Lane in San Jose.

The club has one large heated swimming pool, a wading pool, new public showers and restrooms. A picnic area and BBQ's are available or you can reserve the area and host a swim party. A volleyball/large play area is also available for your enjoyment. Membership dues for the new season are $400 per family. An application along with dues must be turned in prior to May 15, 2006 to reserve a slot.

Valley Christian Schools Festival of the Arts on May 20

Valley Christian Schools, located at 100 Skyway Drive, San Jose, CA is holding a Festival of the Arts event on May 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will feature musical concerts, art displays, dance and drama performances, computer animation, huge inflatables, hands on fun, and food. Yerba Buena Villas Annual Garage Sale June 3

The Yerba Buena Villas Annual Garage Sale, a 360 unit-wide event, will be held on Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (No early-birds please).

Yerba Buena Villas is located near Yerba Buena Road and San Felipe Rd. West of Evergreen Valley College.


Midway of Fun Carnival set for May 12 – 14

The Midway of Fun Carnival will be returning to the Evergreen Valley United Methodist Church on May 12 – 14. On Friday, the May Day Fun Fest Carnival will start at 4 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. Saturday, hours are 12 – 10 p.m. and on Sunday the last day, it will start at 12 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.

Don’t miss the three days of fun for your family and friends. There will be rides, games and food. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Sunday, April 16 at the church. 37th Annual Evergreen Invitational Golf Tournament at the
Villages Golf and Country Club set for July 21 and 22

The 37th Annual Evergreen Invitational Golf Tournament will be held at the Villages Golf and Country Club on July 21 and 22, 2006. This major annual event offers a unique opportunity to present your business to the entire Villages Community and to many other communities in the Bay Area through exposure to many invited guests.

The Villages is a Bay Area award-winning, active adult community, with over 4,200 residents and professional adults. Each year at this time, The Villages invites members of the local business community to assist in the sponsorship of this Villages event.

All sponsors will be prominently posted at the clubhouse and in our printed brochure. Individual sponsors are also displayed at various tee areas throughout the golf course. The Villages would like to invite you to become a sponsor of this event. The sponsor participation categories are:
