Evergreen Area Police report

April 28
Assault with a deadly weapon
3800 Block of Carryduff Way
An assault occurred in the area of the above location. The victim was struck in the head with a weapon causing a sever laceration. Four suspects were booked for participating during the assault.

April 30
Assault / robbery
Aborn / White
Two juvenile female victims were confronted in the parking lot at the above location after an altercation in their vehicles on San Felipe Road. Both victims were knocked to the ground by multiple suspects who punched and kicked them, then took their car keys. The victims had minor injuries only. The suspects fled in their vehicle.

April 22
Murder on McCreery Avenue and E. San Antonio Street
On Saturday, April 22, at 11:18 p.m., San Jose Police Officers responded to the area of McCreery Avenue and E. San Antonio Street regarding shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found two victims. Victim No. 1 had been shot and Victim No. 2 had been stabbed.

The victims were approached by a group of Hispanic Males in their early 20’s. A struggle ensued. Victim No. 1 was then shot and Victim No. 2 was stabbed. The suspects fled the area.

Victim No. 1 died on the morning of April 23. Victim No. 2 is in stable condition at a local hospital. No motive has been established for this case.
