Celebrate ‘Cinco de Fido’ with the Evergreen Chapter of Society Dog
On Monday, May 5 or “Cinco de Fido,” Society Dog will host the first of its ongoing Monday evening dog walks in the Evergreen area of San Jose. Meet the lime green Society Dog bus at 6:30 p.m. at Fowler Creek Park for Mexican pizza and soda.
Enjoy a walk with your dog along the east side hills and end up at Java Junction for Mexican Coffee and pastries with your pooch! As always, there will be lots of dog treats!
“Society Dog is excited to start this new chapter in Evergreen,” says founder Alphadog Terri Festa. “We’re starting the weekly Monday night walks, which are free, from Fowler Creek Park and we’ll be enjoying ‘Yappy Hour’ at a dog-friendly restaurant after each walk.”
Admission: $8 Prefurred Members; $10 Basic Members includes dog walk, pizza, non-alcoholic cold drinks, coffee, pastries, dog treats and prizes!
Reservations and prepayment are required for this event! Everyone is invited, but you must sign up as a member (Basic Membership is free) and agree to our terms of participation. Registration deadline is Saturday, May 3. One dog per person unless otherwise permitted by the Alphadog, alphadog@societydog.com.
