Evergreen Area Police report

Feb. 10
Burglary
4000 Block of Metropolitan Drive    
The victim advised that his family went to sleep last night and awoke to discover muddy footprints and missing property from their home. The suspect(s) entered three homes during the night through front windows and took property.

Feb. 12
Assault on an officer, under the influence
Ruby/Hoiting
Officers observed a subject acting suspicious in an area of a recent burglary. Upon contact, the subject threatened the officers and began throwing rocks and dirt at them. Officers attempted to physically subdue the subject but were assaulted. Officers used pepper spray and their batons to gain compliance, however, the subject fled from the officers. Officers then took the subject into custody a short distance away. The subject was treated at Valley Medical Center for his injuries and later booked into the county jail.
