Villages Amateur Theatre delights audiences with Readers’ Theatre,
mini-musical production, ‘Kingdom of Spam’
Jeanne Broenen (Anna) and Tom Harney (King of Spam) danced together and had the leading roles in "The Kingdom of Spam" which was presented by the Villages Amateur Theatre to capacity audiences in the Cribari Auditorium at The Villages on Friday, January 20 at 1:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
Many say that the colorful mini-musical was the most creative offering ever presented by the Villages Amateur Theatre. The performances, costumes, set, music, and other amenities thrilled the audiences. The production was under the direction of Monica Facchino and under the musical direction of Nadine Tubbs.
"You Can't Be Too Careful" under the direction of Joyce Davies will be presented on February 17. "Abie's Irish Rose" under the direction of Geri Zeri will be presented on March 17, St. Patrick's Day.
