Evergreen Area Police report
Jan. 28
Found property
Lyon Plaza, Tully Road/King Road
While on foot patrol, officers located a van, which had 630 pounds of illegal fireworks. Bomb Tech officers responded to the scene to assist. The illegal fireworks were confiscated. Several other vendors were also in violations of the city permit. The incidents were documented on a crime report for follow-up and action by the office of cultural affairs. One suspect is in custody.
Feb. 2
Suspicious person
1900 Block of Flint Avenue
A known 18-year-old male suspect followed a 12-year-old female victim and verbally harassed her. The victim called 911. Officers responded to the scene. The suspect fled the area on his bicycle. Officers gave chase on foot and apprehended the suspect without any incident. The suspect was booked in for probation violation, stalking, and resisting arrest.
Feb. 5
Assault with a deadly weapon
Eastridge Mall parking lot
An 18 year-old male was hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat in the parking lot of Eastridge Mall. The suspects are unknown. The victim was driven to Valley Medical Center by his cousin. He was treated and released from the hospital.
