ESUHSD NEWS BRIEFS
EVHS Comedy Showcase raises $1,000
Forget the cookie dough sales and car washes. Chris Sifflet, a senior at Evergreen Valley High School, leveraged his passion for comedy to raise $1,000 for the EVHS drama department. The Comedy Showcase he arranged as a fundraiser brought a full line up of Bay Area comics to Evergreen on Jan. 20 to an appreciative crowd of 250 people.
The profits from the show will help fund equipment and materials. Pictured here is Sifflet with his dad, who he dragged on stage as part of his comedy routine. Based on the success of this show, Sifflet hopes to plan another show for March with a totally different line up.
New ESUHSD principal assignments do not affect Evergreen

He has also been a business education teacher and an assistant principal at Oak Grove High School. Moser replaces Carol Blackerby who will be retiring from Piedmont Hills High School.
