Film director David Lynch signs copies of his new book at Barnes & Noble Eastridge
More than 300 fans crowded the isles of the Barnes & Noble bookstore at Eastridge Shopping Center on Jan. 20 to see three-time Oscar nominated director David Lynch.

Lynch appeared at the Barnes & Noble bookstore to sign copies of his newly published book Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness and Creativity.
During the appearance, Lynch also read a short passage of his new work, which, in part, focuses on his personal methods of capturing and working with ideas, and the immense creative benefits he has experienced from the practice of meditation.
In the book, Lynch also describes the experience of "catching" ideas like fish and preparing them for television or movie screens, as well as photography and painting.
A successful film director, David Lynch is the responsible for notable cult hits such as Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Wild At Heart, Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive.
The short reading was followed by a Q&A session with members of the audience, with questions ranging from Lynch’s previous works in film and his future plans, to various items he owns in his home.
