Evergreen Area Police report
Crime got more serious in Evergreen in the past few weeks. First, robbers attempted a theft at a Lucky’s grocery store, but they may end up on Jay Leno’s dumb criminals list. They left empty-handed.
Much more disturbing was the drive-by murder of 23-year old Van Hoang. Unknown killers shot Hoang in the driveway of his home in the 27 block of Glen Amador Court in broad daylight on Jan. 9. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call SJPD at (408) 277-5283.
