Nov. 26
Robbery

1700 Block of E. Capitol Expressway
An unknown suspect entered the Provident Credit Union and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then exited the bank. The suspect is currently at large.

Dec. 2
Armed Robbery

1700 Block of Silver Glen Drive
The victims were making a delivery to the listed location. Two suspects entered their unlocked vehicle and removed a large quantity of cash. The victims gave chase and one of the suspects brandished a handgun and fled. The suspects were not apprehended.

Dec. 6
Assault with a Deadly Weapon

3300 Block of Bel Mira Way
Several suspects struck one victim with a metal object, and another victim with a brick, at the above location. The suspects fled in two vehicles and are unidentified and at large.

Dec. 7
Assault with a Deadly Weapon

3200 Block of S. White Rd
The victim attempted to gain entry to a bar at the above location. After being denied entry, he punched a customer in the face. The customer’s friends punched and kicked the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The subjects are unidentified and at large.

Dec. 8
Stolen Vehicle

Block of Towers/Amberly Ave
At approximately 2319 hours, Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a Vehicle Code violation at the above location. Two suspects fled on foot leaving the vehicle to roll into two parked cars. A perimeter was established and the registered owner contacted, who stated the vehicle was stolen. Canine Officers assisted in the search and apprehension. Both suspects were apprehended in the 1500 block of Aborn Ave. Both suspects were determined to be juveniles on probation and were booked into Juvenile Hall for multiple charges.

Dec. 9
Bank Robbery

1700 Block of E. Capitol Expressway
The adult male suspect entered the bank and presented a teller with a demand note. After receiving the envelope with the cash, the suspect fled from the bank.

Forgery
1700 Block of E. Capitol Expressway
An unrelated forgery was taking place inside the same bank. Two suspects attempted to cash forged checks totaling over $6,000. Bank employees became suspicious and called police after verifying the checks were forged. Upon arrival, Officers stopped and detained one of the forgery suspects who was later booked into jail on forgery and other theft-related charges.

Dec. 10
Armed Robbery

2900 Block of E. Capitol Expressway
The victim was robbed at knifepoint. The suspect fled the area on foot. The take was cash. The victim was not injured.
