Fox is new leader of Goodwill Industries

Michael E. Fox Jr. has accepted the position as C.E.O. of Goodwill Industries of Silicon Valley, effective immediately.

Christopher Schumb, Board Chairman said, “We are thrilled to have Mike Fox Jr. as our new President and C.E.O. Mike possesses the unique combination of entrepreneurial skills, strong retail background and tremendous community connections.”

Fox’s immediate priorities at Goodwill are developing and implementing a strategic plan that will keep the agency healthy in this challenging retail environment, increasing Goodwill’s impact on the community and creating a more collaborative working environment. Previously serving as the Executive Committee Member, Fox has the key expertise to achieve these goals.

Founded in Santa Clara County in 1926, Goodwill Industries of Silicon Valley helps those who are unemployed, become employed. Goodwill exists to assist people with disabilities or other barriers to employment to achieve their highest potential by providing a broad range of vocational, occupational and education services. Goodwill of Silicon Valley is part of Goodwill Industries International, a federation of over 200 autonomous community-based Goodwill organizations worldwide.
