Evergreen Estates Realty celebrates 20 years of local service

July 19 marked the 20th anniversary of Evergreen Estates Realty. Owner Ann Marie Quellman, and her daughter, office manager Shelly Bell, celebrated the history of the family business at a party for the public in their office, where Quellman’s close friends and colleagues shared 20 years of memories and stories.

Walter James, who has worked at Evergreen Estates Realty for all 20 years and has sold over 600 houses, reminisced on when he first met Quellman, moving in boxes outside of their office.

“I asked her what was going into the office and what I needed to do to work there,” said James.

Quellman told him that he needed a real estate license, which James eventually got, by taking night classes.

“The rest is history,” said James. “I’ve been working there ever since.”
