Honorable Katherine Lucero speaks to San Jose East/Evergreen Rotary Club on April 24 at the San Jose Country Club
“Over every blade of grass, there’s an angel whispering, ‘grow, grow, grow.’”
Those were the compelling words of Judge Katherine Lucero, Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, as she addressed the S.J.E./E. Rotary Club at their luncheon meeting at the San Jose Country Club on Tuesday,
April 24. The goal of Judge Lucero’s talk was to enlist mentors and child advocates for the many children (0–18) in Santa Clara County that are in need of help and guidance from adults who are willing to make a positive difference in lives of those children.
Interested readers who would like more information on how they might make a difference by serving as a mentor or child advocate may obtain more information by calling Rehabilitation Counselor Debbie D. Silva at (408) 272-6500 or Rotarian Loren Harper at (408) 918-6121.
